Built to be used by everyone learning.

A school that only works for some people is not a school. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, at level AA, on this site and in Tessorio itself. This page says honestly where we are.

What works today

• Everything can be reached with a keyboard, including the four questions, the lesson player and the hands-on labs.
• A "skip to content" link comes first on every page.
• If your computer is set to reduce motion, the page obeys it: the wheel stops turning, the materials stop dropping, and words appear without moving.
• Text is real text, not pictures of text, so it reflows when you enlarge it.
• Lessons speak aloud and show the words on screen at the same time, and you can slow the voice down.
• The labs never rely on colour alone: a wrong move is explained in words.

What we know is not there yet

• The lesson pictures are described in the spoken narration, but not every one has a written description for screen readers.
• Some of the small print, such as the labels above headings, is lighter than we would like.
• No independent audit has been carried out. We have tested with a keyboard and with the browser's own tools, nothing more.
