What is Tessorio?
An AI tutor that gets to know you. It asks what you want to learn and what you already know, plans a course that starts there, and teaches it one on one: narrated lessons whose pictures draw themselves, a question after each idea, and a tutor you can ask at any point.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. The free courses in the Tessorio Library play in full with no account and no card. For lessons built around you and a tutor to ask, pick a plan.
What does it cost?
Self-learning is $19.99 a month, Family $29.99, Teacher $19.99 and Course Creator $79. Paying yearly costs ten times the monthly price, so two months are free. Each plan includes the whole Library and a set number of new lesson minutes a month; watching and rewatching never use them. Compare the plans.
Does Tessorio replace teachers?
No. It works alongside them. Teachers bring their own curriculum, Tessorio teaches it to each student at their level, and the teacher sees who is stuck. Parents can link a child to their teacher's class with a class code.
Can children use it?
Accounts are for people 13 and over. Younger children learn inside a parent's Family account or a teacher's class, with no email and no password of their own.
How long does a new lesson take?
The first time a lesson is opened it is built for you, which takes a few minutes. After that it plays straight away, as often as you like.
Why is it called Tessorio?
It is named in honour of Maria Montessori. Her method needed one adult watching one child, and that was always the part nobody could afford. Tessorio is our attempt to make it affordable. It is not affiliated with any Montessori organisation. Read her story.
