Learning how to learn.

A course in how memory really works and what that means for how you study: why rereading feels like learning but isn't, why testing yourself beats it, when to review so it sticks, and how to build a four-week plan you'll keep. Every unit ends with one technique to try on your own material the same day.

How the course works

Learned, not just watched

It starts from what you know

Before it plans, Tessorio asks what you want and what you already know, and a short check skips what you have. The course starts where you're shaky.

Each idea is shown, then checked

Lessons are narrated, and the picture draws itself as each part is named. After each idea the lesson stops and asks you a question.

What you miss comes back

A wrong answer gets an explanation of why. Topics you keep missing become catch-up lessons.

A tutor beside every lesson

Pause and ask about what's on screen. A big question can become a lesson of its own.

Questions

Asked often

What does 'learning how to learn' mean?

Using what's known about memory to study better: testing yourself instead of rereading, spacing reviews out, mixing topics, and working in focused blocks. The course teaches each one and has you try it.

Who is it for?

Anyone who studies, from middle school up: students, people preparing for exams, and adults learning something new.

What does this have to do with Montessori?

Her method built the room around how the child actually learns. This course applies the same idea to you: understand how your memory works, then study with it instead of against it.

Do I need to be studying something already?

It helps. Each unit ends with a technique to use on your own material, but you can follow along with anything you're learning.

What does it cost?

The free courses in the Tessorio Library need no account and cost nothing. Plans are Self-learning $19.99 a month, Family $29.99, Teacher $19.99 and Course Creator $79. Paying yearly costs ten times the monthly price, so two months are free. Each plan includes the whole Library and a set number of new lesson minutes a month; watching and rewatching never use them.
